Riverdale, NY - Manhattan College's Student-Athletes excelled in the classroom during the 2015 fall semester. Here are some of the academic highlights:
· Team average semester grade point average (GPA) = 3.15
· Team cumulative grade point average = 3.10
· 139 of 378 student-athletes merited Dean's List status (3.4 or higher semester GPA)
· 253 student-athletes earned a semester GPA of at least 3.0
· 231 student-athletes have maintained a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
· 16 of 19 teams have average semester GPAs of at least 3.0
· 9 of 19 teams posted average semester GPAs of at least 3.3
· 13 student-athletes earned perfect 4.0 GPAs for the semester
"We are extremely proud of our student-athletes and their academic achievements this past semester," said Manhattan College Academic Advisor Rory Redmond. "They continue to work hard inside and outside the classroom."
