Joyful Jaspers Toy Drive Photo Gallery
RIVERDALE, N.Y. ? On Saturday, several members of the Manhattan College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) took part in a “Breakfast with Santa” at St. Augustine's School in the South Bronx, delivering Christmas presents to 79 children ages 4-14. The toys were collected at the men's and women's basketball games on the weekend of Nov. 28-30.
Lindsey Keeler (women's tennis), Monica Evangelista (softball), Tom Romano (golf) and Tom Moran (baseball) joined several members of the Manhattan Athletic Department at the event on Saturday morning, which marked the culmination of the Joyful Jaspers Toy Drive. The toy drive drew 85 donations from Manhattan basketball fans and staff members at the women's games against Vermont (Nov. 28) and Sacred Heart (Nov. 30) and the men's game against Hofstra (Nov. 29).
