Riverdale, N.Y. -- Manhattan College senior Erin Kennedy posted a personal best time to lead the Lady Jasper women's cross country team to a fourth place finish in the College White Division of the Paul Short Cross Country meet hosted Friday by Lehigh University.
Kennedy ran the 6K course in 22:17 to finish eighth overall out of 255 runners.
Also scoring for the Lady Jaspers were: senior Ellen Dobbin, who finished 13th overall in 22:25; sophomore Jelena Rankovic, who placed 35th in 23:05; freshman Maria Jangsten, who finished in 23:13 to place 42nd overall; senior Melissa Trauscht, who finished 54th overall in 23:30; junior Mary Consiglio, who finished 65th overall in 23:46 and senior Angela Bernarde, who placed 112th overall in 24:34.
The meet winner was Cortland State University. Second place went to Edinboro College and third place went to San Diego. In all, 37 schools took part in the White Division of the meet.
