Philadelphia, PA (October 25, 2003)- Manhattan College raced two boats at the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta. The two races in which the Jaspers competed in Philadelphia were the men's college novice eights, and the women's college novice eights.
In the men's race, the Jaspers finished the 2.5 mile race course in a time of 16:44.26, which bested both Carnegie Mellon and Franklin and Marshall. Manhattan placed 35th overall.

The women's team completed the race in a time of 17:54.53, faster than five other boats. The Lady Jaspers defeated Lafayette, William and Mary, Maryland-College Park, Catholic University, and Carnegie Mellon. The boat placed 37th overall.
